I admit, I was a little worried about I.& N.’s wedding. Berlin is not famous for its long summery autumns, and a wedding in late October could have spelled gloomy skies or soaking wet bride and groom. I was prepared for an umbrella-themed dancing-in-the-rain photo shooting.
Fortunately, the unusually hot weather turned into a long Indian summer (which does actually happen occasionally in Berlin, but I could not believe this luck). The trees were golden turning auburn, the light had a mellifluous quality, the timing was perfect.
The blue thistles were a great choice for a bridal bouquet.
The oldtimer car, a 1931 Chevrolet, arranged by N. as a surprise wedding day gift for I., was a real eye turner on the streets of Berlin.
