A walk in Mitte

Spring in Berlin, such an ephemeral moment. One minute you think “this is it, it’s finally here“, then in a jiffy it’s back to chilly rain and clouds for days.

However cruel a month may April be, it was remarkably kind with W. and G.’s plans to have a nice walk in Mitte, with yours truly in tow.

Under a bright sky with shy clouds, on a pleasantly warm day, we walked around Museum Island, along the Spree, a quick stop in Monbijou park (which, if you ask me, could be more of a bijou to match its name), then a hop, skip and a jump to old Nikolaiviertel, one of my personal favourites.

All in all, a very fun and pleasant stroll.

Now unfreeze!

Now unfreeze!
